Advertising – the sales pitch!
I was talking to someone today about advertising and the “sales pitch”… they are being pressured or should I use the word encouraged :o) to enter into a 2 year contract to advertise on POP machines in supermarkets for a weekly $ amount. Of course they only have a few days to make their decision as that’s the cut off….
What ever happened to finding the best medium for your customers needs and target audience…..POP can be a great place to advertise but why lock someone into a 2 year contract for this, I am guessing this is to give them cash flow as a business but are they doing the best thing for their potential client? I would say not, it’s about the mighty dollar.
There are so many advertising and PR opportunities for businesses these days and it all comes down to knowing your consumer/target market and audience and where is the best place to converse with them.
